- Spectator mode
- After many, maaany player requests it's finally done! It's currently in its infancy with more updates to come. Spectator mode currently allows up to eight players to watch live friendly matches via a room code.
- Ozo Lounge
- The doors have opened and we're inviting all players to visit the Lounge to hang out and chat with other players, fistbump to start a friendly match or spectate a duel started from the Lounge. Enter the Ozo Lounge by clicking on the door to the right when you’re in the main menu. Say hi to the bartender from us!
- Play against duelists on Steam
- With the launch of Blaston on Steam, you can now battle your PCVR-using friends. You'll all be part of the same matchmaking system, so it's time to show them who's boss.
- Game changes
- FrostByte: the holiday gift you didn’t know you needed! It looks like a snowball, it plays like a snowball but it hits like a FrostByte. Our first foray into illusion-like effects so we look forward to the various devious mischievous ways you’ll use the snow-cloud to surprise your opponents. And if not, it still hits for 15 damage.
- Krysox: someone, some night, was heard humming this mantra on Discord: "Penguin, penguin, penskin, penskin". We thought that was a great feedback process and proceeded to make the Krysox armor. After all, what better times than the holidays to look like a classy penguin?
- New microphone option: deactivate this option in the game settings to use the Oculus Party voice system. Note that existing players need to activate this option to continue talking in friendly duels.
